I write because I cannot draw.

Well for starters my name is Logan and I was born in California, although I no longer reside there. I have lived in six different states in the nineteen years of my life, and I moved at least twice in each state. So, it is safe to assume that I love to travel.

I started writing in seventh grade, spurred by my avid reading that began in fifth grade. Although, while most kids were reading Harry Potter I was reading Tom Clancy and the Wheel of Time series. The latter of the two I highly, and I cannot emphasize enough, highly recommend for lovers of fantasy. My voracious appetite for reading caused me to finish many books the same day I started reading them. I was essentially a book worm, and if I wasn't skateboarding or sleeping, I was reading or writing.

I have discovered that I greatly enjoy writing horror, which I find strange for I rarely ever watch horror movies and the only horror I ever read was Bram Stoker's Dracula, which I greatly enjoyed. My main focus though is not just horror, I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, and dark fictions. I'm also working on trying my hand at some hard-boiled dectective stories, something that I have always been fascinated by, but never attempted.

I draw influence from music, movies, real life experiences, dreams in my sleep, (corny I know, but the dreams of sleep are the works of an unfiltered and unbound imagination running free) and of course other authors and their stories.

Some of my favorite books: The Wheel of Times series, Rule of the Bone, Battle Royale, Enders Game, Fahrenheit 451, Harry Turtledove's Darkness series, The Bear and the Dragon, Angels & Demons, the Bourne Identity trilogy, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Dracula, and so on and so forth. I could go on, but those are the ones that come immediate to mind, all of which I highly recommend.
