Author has written 4 stories for Phantom of the Opera, and Harry Potter. Attention All of my READERS, LURKERS, and REVIEWERS: I would like to give all my readers, lurkers, and reviewers and HUGE GIGANTIC HUMUNGOUS VAST AND OTHERWISE INFINITY BIG apology. I haven't updated Strange in FOREVER and I just want to say have absolutely no time to write. I'm in 2 plays, which is taking up more time than a dayhas hours, and I usually have other stuff to do also. This summer has just whizzed by and I'm not sure if I like it that way...but...ahem I am also revising it because I decided I wanted Roselle's and Abbey's vacation to be 3 weeks in the winter instead of the summer- and you'll find out why later. Also because I'm having a hard time deciding about this one idea, whethere I want to act like they've gotten to know eachother for a year or just do it soon, and I'm undecided because I'm trying to think up new plots to take up that time. X_x. So you see the dilemma. Fellow writers, you know my pain! Anyway, I'm also working on getting Erik in character in the first few chapters; I had some complaints that he wasn't a Leroux!Erik at all and he was too passive and not pathetic and morbid enough (this IS my first Leroux!Erik so I thought I was doing well...-_-). He has to have his adjustment period to the 21st century, however, so please try to understand that. All things considered, I might just take Strange down until I have time and/or get over a case of writer's block and/or fix the OOCness in the first 3+ chapters. Sincerely- I have NOT dropped off the face of the Earth and moved to Venus- CD Hi! This a strange little section... I really don't know what to put... I love Phantom of the Opera very, very much. It's been the inspiration of my life. I have fallen in love with the tragic story. I have seen the movie, read the book by Gaston Leroux 5x times- I love it- and have read Susan Kay's. Ah, that inevitable question...Leroux!Erik or Gerik...Crawford or Gerry...Leroux or Kay... -I personally preferr Leroux's. He's more morbid, mysterious, and easier to build on. Gerry is a very hot guy, and he has a wonderful voice, and the movie is excellent. But you really can't compare them because they are so different.I like them both but Leroux-Erik is just...perfect. -Crawford or Gerry...I can almost not answer that question for fear of the mobs of Gerik fangirls...While Gerry's voice is wonderfully seductive and very good for the movie, Crawford's has hidden emotions you cannot detect unless you listen to him for 5x times. He has a more desperate tinge and insane happiness in Music of the Night that seems to fit. But Gerry's is the ultimate seduction and passionate voice...so they're both good. If I could hear Leroux-Erik's voice, I'd say his was Crawford's. If that even made sense. Again, they are both wonderful. I cannot pick which. -Leroux or Kay. I did not like Kay's book; it is one huge fanfiction that Kay published. I don't like how Christine ended up loving Erik anyway but still left him and it's just wrong how Charles was Erik's son...I'm Leroux allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way. I haven't seen the musical...but wish i had. Other? I'm a proud member of DBCA- Dramatic Black Cape Addicts- and it find out what that is, visit Silvermasque's home page. I don't like- Raoul De Changy, the biggest, stupidest dolt in the entire realm of men. Most of the main men characters in the classics books- have you ever noticed how weak and squeamish they are? Everyone else ends up solving their problems. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie...that was poorly-made fave quotes: ~"Where's the rum gone?" Jack Sparrow, PotC ~"What have trees to talk about, except the consistancy of squirrel droppings!" Gimli LotR ~"That is not for us to decide. All we can decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." Gandalf, LotR ~"Who'd believe a diva happy to relieve a chorus girl who's gone and slept with the patron?" Andre/Firmin, PotO ~"This car smells wierd." Riley Poole, National Treasure ~Glinda-"Elphie, now that we're friends, I've decided to make you my new project!" Elphie-"You really don't have to do that." Glinda-" I know. That's what makes me so nice." - Popular, Wicked ~"Why think to hard when it's so soothing? Dancing thru life." Fiyero, Wicked ~ "And take the road less traveled by," Robert Frost Um...thats enough. Your obedient servant~ Candle in the Darkness |
