Discord has turned good, but Equestria still does not trust him. In order to keep the peace, the Princesses have ordered that at least one of the Mane Six must be with him at all times. During this time, a romance sparks between Fluttershy and Discord, but Discord disappears before it gets far. Ten years pass and Discord returns to find things are not quite how he left them.

The six girls are going to high school together and can't help but feel something a little different than they're used to. Rainbow Dash is certain she's straight. Apple Jack thinks Rarity is acting awfully strange. Twilight has been spending an awfully large amount of time with Pinkie Pie. And poor little Flutter Shy is too scared to talk to the person she's crushing on.
