Any Madeleine L'Engle book with Zachary Grey/Gray:

Zachary Grey/Gray, who appears in The Moon by Night, A Ring of Endless Light, A House Like A Lotus, and An Acceptable Time is definitely one of my top-5 favorite characters of all time. He's super this super handsome Californian kid, who is also extremely rich, and quite smart. But he also has a life threatening heart disease. Even though he's only a supporting character in most of the books that he's in, and people on Goodreads seem to hate him, HE'S REALLY AWESOME. Especially if you like the kind of fics where Scorpius Malfoy is a jerk, READ THE BOOKS.

I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith

I've written one story for I Capture the Castle, but other than that, there's basically only one other I Capture the Castle story on this website. It's a book about two sisters, Rose and Cassandra, who are very poor (not poor as in, "oh, we have to budget very carefully", but poor as in "where's are next meal coming from?") and very bohemian (their father is a writer suffering from writer's block, and their step-mother is a model/artist/nudist). Their lives suddenly change when two rich American neighbors move into the estate close to their castle. The book's about the elder brother falling in love with Rose, and Cassandra falling in love with him. And while this is all going on, there's more drama between their father and step-mother (whom they adore), and with the rich-bro's Mother. It might sound super cliched, but it's really good.

The Betsy-Tacy books, and The Betsy High School Books

These are some of my favorite books of all time. There's not much about them to explain, but they're about two girls growing up at the turn of the century in Minnesota. What's so nice about them is that they're technically historical fiction, but there's so much that is so relatable to today.

18) If you could have one super power what would it be? Here's the thing -- I think that super powers ruin you. Like if you were invisible, your morals might be ruined, and if you could fly, you would become lazy. That being said, mind-reading!
