Tired and disillusioned by society, Mr Darcy decides to take a vacation, but most certainly not of the kind one would expect from a man of his consequence. No, to avoid turning bitter he decides it's time for a change and a drastic one. What he has not counted on is, that in doing so he could lose his heart. A night of passion changes two peoples lives forever. Will he ever find out? Will she ever love him? I guess you'll have to read and find out.

Darcy knows from his Second Sight that Elizabeth will one day be his wife. Of course, Elizabeth has no way of knowing his assurance is anything more than prideful conceit. Darcy's certainty will bring much uncertainty before it brings happiness to either.

This is my modern version of JA's masterpiece. Lizzy is a very accomplished and talented young Puerto Rican girl with a secret, while Darcy is a successful, handsome, wealthy tycoon. I changed some of their relations but the characters have basically the same personalities as in the book. I added a great brother for Lizzy and other nice relatives. It's a romantic comedy. Enjoy.
