Former huge Naruto fan... Just want to go on record saying that the Naruto series was AMAZING until the fourth shinobi war rolled around, and I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in anything in my life, nor could I have been more disappointed.

Not only was the fourth shinobi war stupid beyond all belief from Obito being Tobi to Madara pulling the strings and becoming some dumbass new person we've never heard of in Kaguya, but also from a pairing perspective.

The development of the story, characters and history of this world was absolutely amazing until this point. There was a personal connection between everyone who read it and most of the characters that transcended the series. I am absolutely flabbergasted at how delusional and absolutely stupid Kishimoto wrapped up the series.

From a pairing standpoint I have always been a huge fan of NaruSaku, as well as many others. I also liked NaruHina and had absolutely no problem with it at all. However, SasuSaku was the stupidest most ridiculous and menine pairing in the entire series. I am completely and utterly embarrassed to be a Naruto fan at this point. From being amazing to such crap is just so depressing. I once considered Kishimoto a great mind with great teachings... I was absolutely incorrect. Living in the United States, domestic abuse is a big issue right now. I look at SasuSaku as the most abusive relationship possible and I am highly highly highly disappointed in how this was done. Not only have I read many many fanfictions that are better than the ending of this series, but they dwarfed it in comparison. They held true to the characters and history while not making up pure nonsense.

At this point, I refuse to take anything from the point in the shinobi war when Sasuke showed up as Naruto. It is something else entirely. It seems like Kisimoto just did not care for the story or the characters anymore. I think we, or more prudently, you, the fanfiction writers are responsible for keeping the Naruto series alive, especially since Kishimoto has tried to murder it beyond belief.
