Author has written 4 stories for Once Upon a Time, and Harry Potter. Hey everyone! I'm shopowner93! I'm new to the world of fan fiction and I must say I am loving it! I really didn't know so many people were into it, but it's great hearing everyone's stories. I'm from the US and I'm in my second year in college in North Carolina. Originally I'm from up north, so I'm loving the heat! I'm a double major in Creative Writing and Economics with a minor in publishing. Hopefully one day I'll be working for Random House or Scholastic. Or even better I'll be a screenwriter, which lately I've been really getting into. Here's some tidbits about me: Favorite Movies: (I really love older movies from when I was a kid. They might not have all necessarily been award deserving, but I have a great fondness for all of them) National (freakin') Treasure The Lion King (hakuna matata) Jumanji (the drumming always terrified me) The First Wives Club (come on! you all know the song at the end!) Sister Act (all of them!!) Holes (i'm in love with Shia, and it's just a great story) Finding Forrester (beautiful story!) Favorite Books: (I love holding a new book in my hand. Best present ever! I'm really starting to branch out now and read more classics.) Dan Brown's Deception Point (i'm not a science person, but I loved the story an found it hard to keep up sometimes, but that was part of the thrill) J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter (i'm pretty sure it's against the law to not have this on your list. It's the series that made me truly want to write in the first place) Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol (Can you tell I love Dan Brown. I love Washington DC even more!) Erik Larson's In the Garden of Beasts (I'm not done with it yet, because school has started and I have no time, but it's fantastic. So well written) Tom Robb Smith's Child 44 (crazy book about the Soviet Union. Fiction, but still, I learned a lot) Favorite TV shows Once Upon a Time (the show that made me explore screenwriting. So original) Bones (The writing, the tension, the drama, the actors...everything just make me so happy) Rizzoli and Isles (the first two seasons, this season is really turning me off. Janet Tamaro is trying too hard) Charmed (the first three seasons. Never a real fan of Paige, but I still re-watch all the episodes all the time) |
