This story is an alternate and darker take on the Tartaros arc, starting at Chapter 361 "Two Bombs" of the Fairy Tail Manga. What might have happened if Wendy took just a bit longer to heal Natsu and Lucy was forced to play Jackal's sick and cruel game, putting the life of two hostages into her hands, forced to decide who would live or die? Eren always hated it when Mikasa bugged him all the time. He hated how she stuffed bread in his mouth while saying the words "I won't let you starve" and such. He hated how she looked like him as if he was her little brother or as a child. Sometimes, he even hated her presence. But, what if one day, all of that suddenly got lost? What would Eren do then? Humanity's at another fix and once again Eren's the guy for the job. Trouble is, this top secret mission has him suddenly getting chummy with undesirables like that traitor Annie and THAT's something Mikasa can't stand for! Mikasa has been so used to sharing a bed with Eren that when she gets a nightmare about her past, she goes to find the only person who can reassure her that everything was okay, that they were fighting together and for a reason; and that she'll always have him to keep her warm. Set during their military training.

Many things filtered through her mind after the attack. The main one being how could she left herself fail...

In the end, it was her death that clarified things for Eren.

"It's okay to cry sometimes, alright? You don't have to fight all the time, that's why I'm here." He smiled, bumping their heads together. "Don't be stupid and keep it all in. There's not a lot to be smiling about, but you should do it more. I like it when you smile."

After Lisanna returns from Edolas Team Natsu seems to be ignoring poor Lucy ,or are they? While Lucy suffers in silence she takes a job much too powerful for herself. Lucy's gone missing and Levy and Gajeel go after her. But what they find will destory the guild in a way they never thought possiable. When Natsu finds out will he be able to handle the the pain, or will he crumble with guilt?
