Rich is a quiet pensive soul to the naked eye, but a creative melodious song bird to people manage to penetrate the woman's unassuming exterior. Born to help pastoral parentage, the following wonderful woman of God grew up in an atmosphere of praise worship and sacred songs. Her parents, the late Revs. Henry and Lavania Stewart, saw for it that their eleven little ones ate slept and breathe the gospel; which was ever contained in the songs of Zion that filled their residence. While several of her siblings quickly found their own niche in preaching this gospel Lavern found hers in singing the gospel for a very early age. At the age of 13, she emerged jointly of her church's top soloists, with a genre to include sacred to soul new music.
