Thankfully, Thor still has a soft spot for his younger brother, and he's made a pitch to save Loki's skin that the King of the Nine Realms deems worthy. Now it is up to Thor to find and rescue his wayward, injured brother but Thor cannot protect Loki alone; he must rely on his newly acquired allies if he is to keep his brother safe. After capturing Loki, a strange anomaly happens, transporting the Helicarrier and everyone inside it into a different world. After Loki is punished for his crimes, he and Thor are sent back to Midgard to help the Avengers rebuild Manhattan. But when it becomes obvious that Loki is unwell physically as well as mentally, relationships are strained and healed as well as created. Rated T for the occasional language and frequent in-depth descriptions of illness and medical procedures.

As punishment for crimes against Midgard, Loki is bound to bracelets that force him to become obedient: much to his disgust. Whoever holds the Stone of Command, holds the free will of the Asgardian. Odin decides that the best way to deal with Loki is to throw him into the dungeons without a trial. Three hundred years later, Thor is king and he decides that it's time for his little brother to come home. It will later be recorded that on that mid June day - when the heat was already record breaking - that the San Andreas fault at approximately eleven fifteen AM would shift. The resulting earthquake was a 7.8 on the Richter Scale. Of all those millions of lives changed due to that earthquake, surely none could be more important than the reset of a genius and a god.
