A continuation from "The Opportunity". I'm working on a third, that will include a bit more hope. After being stabbed and almost drowned, Steve's not feeling much better.

Okay, so this literally just came to me this morning and I wrote it in about 15 minutes. Now I'm late for work. :P My take on what might be going on in Steve's head after the transplant.

Danny is deeply concerned about McGarrett's overexertion on his first full week back to work, so he organizes a weekend getaway for the two of them... but will it go as planned? ((McDanno whump/bromance and H/C.))

The team is on a case only to find out its connected to something much bigger. Now, they have to work with people they're not sure they can trust to solve it. And in the end, one of their own pays the price.

Someone is out to get revenge on Five-0 and they're using Danny to do it. Now Danny and Steve are caught in the cross-hairs. Will they be able to get out or will they not walk out of this one alive?

Somebody wants Steve out of the way, and the attention of Five-0 focused elsewhere. Now why would that be? And where the heck have they taken Steve! - A story which throws up many puzzles, has Danny reaching the outer edge of his sanity, and finally boils down to one thing: loyalty!
