A little About One's Self

I'm a uni student, out on Placement, trying to earn a little debt off (heaven above knows we're all drowning in it ;)) and hopefully get a degree out of it all. Don't ask me how I'm feeling with it all though (I'm too happy to divulge that ;)).

I love playing badminton, it's a sport I thoroughly enjoy. I'm proud to say I've represented my university at hall level. Also into running and skipping (skipping the gym that is). Also a bit of a gaming & film nerd; references galore!

My Story, or Your Story

I'm a writer of some sorts, obviously. I wouldn't say I'm particularly great at it, but it's been a hobby of mine for several years and it's something that I thoroughly enjoy in my spare time. I originally started out writing stories for Spyro the Dragon, all the way back in 2012. Although you won't see those listed here ;).

Unfortunately, like most victims of this ordeal, I started growing up, and as I became more of an academic, I had less time and motivation to write. So, it led to my stories just being a part of my imagination.

So, what changed?

As I've mentioned above, I'm really into my games & films. In particular, The Walking Dead. Since Season 2 was announced for the show, and PewDiePie streamed Telltale's The Walking Dead, I've been a massive fan of the series ever since. I simply fell in love with Lee & Clementine's characters in the first game, and got to see Clementine develop whole heartedly as a character throughout the games. Very few games for me have managed to capture a character's journey as well as Clementine's.

When the Final Season of The Walking Dead was announced, I was both excited and fearful of how this great journey would end; an epic conclusion to an epic tale...

But as you all know of the series, Telltale's close of business left that conclusion in the air; only 2 episodes left to end the adventure. It pained me at the time knowing that this story may never get to see that ending, that we the fans would be left forever wondering how it would end for Clementine. And I know that a lot of fans out there felt the same way too.

Deciding that I couldn't be happy with that idea, and I didn't have a console to distract me, I picked up a pen & paper, and began drafting out the storyline of 'We Lonely Few'. I'm writing the story as I envisioned Episode 3 & 4 to turn out, and hopefully bringing some closure to fans, as well as myself.
