In Goblin Town, Thorin offers himself in Kili's place to protect his nephew from torture. However, even when the Goblin agrees to the substitution it's not enough to prevent Fili and Kili's inclusion or to save them from mental trauma. In the aftermath of Goblin Town, issues that had been simmering between them for 70 years boil over. Will things between them mend or remain broken?

Dwarves are not accepted in the Shire, with one notable exception-the dwarf who was pulled from the river as a young child with no memory and a toy bow and raised by Bilbo Baggins. When 12 dwarves arrive at Bag End, his world is turned upside down, and he is forced to chose who he truly is, the nephew of a king or the son of a hobbit. In his heart, he will always be Kili Baggins.

AU Instead of Bilbo, Fili steals the Arkenstone and gives it to Bard. All the dwarves survive the Bof5, but Thorin is mad with gold lust madness. Thorin banishes his nephew from Erebor tearing the two brothers apart. This is to fill a request at hobbitkink.

Captured in Goblin Town, the Dwarves are at the mercy of the monstrous Goblin-King;he wants answers, and will do anything- and everything- to hear what he wants.
