My creative streak is BACK for the time being, so I should be doiing some major updates to "These Plains of Abraham" pretty soon, if all goes well. :) I am BACK, baby!

I'm not dead yet. I'm just in college, which is kind of like being dead but not really. As such all multi-chaptered fics are currently put on hold until I can get some spare time and motivation. HOWEVER, I am still working on "These Plains of Abraham". I've been handed a wonderful opportunity in my history course as sometime in October/November the class will be studying the motives and means of exploration of the French and English vessels into the New World (CANADA!!!!). I will be able to get MUCH more accurate information on this time period, which will allow me to be able to characterise Francis, Arthur and Matthieu/Matthew much better than I am doing now. This makes me a very happy Ozy :D. So you can start looking forward to that, peoples!

EDIT JULY 19/10

As you can see I have started writing fanfics, including a new APH fanfic and uploading an old favorite as a birthday gift for a friend. I will soon start updating my other two multi-chaptered fics, especially "Metallionettes", as well. I was gone for a while during second semester because the school workload almost killed me (hurray for getting 32 credits in one semester! And graduating high school!). I suspect the same thing will happen in September, as I will be beginning college (BA in Psychology! WOO!). So yeah, I'm still alive and still going strong.

I have started a multi-chapter crossover fic (Bionicle/Avatar: The Last Airbender) titled "The Shattered Line", and it will be the main project I will be working on in what little spare time I have (I wil be SO GLAD when school's over). Go check it out!

Sorry I haven't been writing lately, I've just been writing NaNoWriMo all month, and I have only 8000 words to go befor I hit 50K. Once that's over with I'll return to the regular fanfic writing sheniagans. :)

Hello me duckies, and how are you today?

I've been around the 'net for quite awhile now and have read a LOT of stories on here (some of which were fantastic and some...er, not so fantastic) and have now just decided to join. I've been writing fanfiction for YEARS and have now just gotten around to finishing some of it. I've gone under the nicknames supernewf21, the_newfie_haystack, awake_and_dreaming, Haystack (that's what I am on most sites) and Ozymandias. My pen name comes from the last two names mentioned. You can call me Ozy (It's pronounced Ozzy, like Ozzy Osbourne. And yes, I have read Watchmen but I didn't get that name from there, I got it from the original 'old school' poem).

Anyhoo, I am a Canadian and a Christian. I have been taught at home all of my life save for this year where I have been attending a local high school for the first time in my life. I love to write and have been writing seriously since the tender age of 11. I hope some day to become either a full-time writer or a psychologist.
