This starts at the beginning with the fire. The boys are put in an orphanage when John doesn't return. Sam gets adopted by a nice family but Dean doesn't have that luck. Dean swears to find him. He faces many horrors as he grows. When they do find each other again, can they become brothers and family once again. There will be dark chapters that will have warnings.

A year & a half ago, Tessa Lynn's life fell apart. Her father & brother were killed by a vengeful spirit, & she was left with nothing. But two hunters-the same ones who had saved her life time and time again-took her in as one of their own. It's greenhorn against the Bering Sea in an endurance race to save one brother's life.

Sam and Cas are trying to find Dean. On the way to meet Sam, Cas is drawn to a mobile home where he finds a child hiding. Can this child be the help they need to bring back Dean? (Takes place in season 10 while Dean is still a demon. Probably won't follow the actual series, though) Complete!

Sam was thirteen the year his father fell in love for the second time. Leslie was smart, attractive and a perfect match for the elder Winchester. She loved classic rock, old muscle cars and guns. The only affinity they didn't share was Sam. Leslie disliked inconveniences who took up too much of their father's time. Luckily for her, she had ways of removing them.

A hunt for the brothers goes wrong- and is set to shift the Winchester's way of living forever.

"How the hell are we going to stay together as a family, protect a prophet, and keep our son safe from everything?" Lizzy has to wonder as she looks for answers from her husband. Dean takes one very deep breath, pausing to think. He's got nothing. "Beats the hell right outta me." Add in killing Dick Roman and everything starts to look pretty damn impossible... Sam never signed on for raising a teenage girl, but with Dean gone after the showdown at Sucrocorp, Emma is the only family Sam has left. S4 Dean wanted to bury his thoughts of Hell and make this holiday special for his brother just like Sam had done for him last year. Each hadn't felt like celebrating, but for their brother they were willing to bury their own hurts and make it happen.

3.16 NRFTW tag. Dean's ordeal in Hell, then his recovery. Hell was a white room awaiting its paint job. Every horror imaginable visiting him until he escaped to another white room. He wasn't the man he used to be. Would he ever be that man again? Hell AU.

Preseries. It hurt for John to see his son so hesitant, so lost, so reluctant to do the job. "Why don't you take Sammy with you as back-up?" "NO! I can't expose him to this, I won't!" Humor and angst as Sam tries to help Dean with his first solo hunt.

3.08 A Very Supernatural Christmas tag. Wee!chester moments as Bobby talks with Sam about the monsters, Dean frets over how he came to own the amulet, and John regrets missing out on Christmas. Family love with a touch of angst. AVSC

Preseries. While investigating Santanappings at the mall the Winchesters make the ultimate sacrifice. Dean is an elf, John is Santa and that's not even the weird part. Come along on a strange joyride cause Xmas was never this whacked out before.

3.02 TKAA tag. Brothers need to talk about the important events in their lives... like when Dean thinks he might be a dad with an eight year old son. Sam didn't know what to say to ease Dean's pain, so he offered his brother the only truth he knew.

On edge after John's death and trying to hold on, Dean gets his long overdue emotional release when the past confronts him with the pain of his childhood on top of the burden of protecting Sammy. Everything converges to bring Dean Winchester to his knees.

2.17 Heart tag. Dean never could stand seeing Sammy’s tears.

Preseries. This was tough, this dying. Dean always thought when he died it would be quick, in the heat of battle, in a blaze of glory. He never anticipated knowing and waiting, pondering his own imminent demise and what his passing would do to his family.

1876 "God made all Men, Samuel Colt made them equal." The West was inundated with vampires. It was the perfect place to kill and slaughter, cowboys died every day and no one really seemed to care, most were too concerned with staying alive themselves.

When life became too difficult, Dean chose the one night stand:a physical release and a temporary pleasure. His body's pleasure could fool his mind into thinking he was alright. Two broken souls connecting as one and for one night pretending to be whole.

1.22 Devils Trap Companion story to Shattered, Dean's breakdown. John's POV. What is he asking me? Dean never asks for anything, he's the easy one. Never demanded any time, effort or worry. Always my strong, self-reliant son. When did he become breakable?

1.22 Devil's Trap tag. That damn Demon, read his mind and made it happen just like he always feared it would. Even now he couldn't sort it all out. Is it the truth or just his childish fears rearing their ugly head? He was too tired to think about this.

Orders sequel. Dean at 16. Dean was alone. A black hole of loneliness beckoned him. An abyss so deep and dark that he could see no light, no hope. His deepest, darkest fear had been realized. The emptiness encompassed him until a lone voice called out...

1.18 Something Wicked tag. John grabbed his young sons, threw their stuff in the trunk of the Impala and booked. He had felt anger toward Dean for not listening, for not following orders, but he had mainly felt terror. He looked at his son differently now.

Dean Winchester at fifteen. Dean's emotions were raging out of control: guilt, panic, shame, sheer terror. How could he tell Dad how badly he had screwed up? How he had been weak and let what he wanted dictate his actions? A soldier follows orders!
