YukitheRedFox here, looking to try a hand at writing fan-fics, so if you review, please bear in mind I've only recently started writing fan-fics! I'm more used to writing original works and up until roughly September 2009, shunned fan-fics. I'm being a little more open-minded lately though and have seen some pretty awesome stories-- of particular note the 'Transformation' series by TurtlesandMonkeys and those based off of the 'Transformation' universe by JonseyCat79. If you're really into transformation tales, 'Evolution' by Roscuro is a great read! Chapter 7 in particular really has an impact, from the build-up of the previous six! Give it a read!

I'll probably only be a Pokémon Fan-Fic'er-- it has such a broad base to play with and that's what I like about it. I kind of want to play my hand at trying a more gritty Pokémon tale, as well. (because we all know everything can't be as happy-go-lucky as it is in the Anime, right!?) Other series' (i.e. Final Fantasy universes, etc.) I just wouldn't feel comfortable writing about. There are plenty of other people out there who do them, anyways.

As an additional note, CAPCOM are one of my most hated game developers... which leaves a sour taste in my mouth, considering the game series I really care about right now is one of theirs...

Note 2: I bought Ar tonelico: Melodies of Elemia and Ar tonelico II: Melodies of Metafalica for the PS2, but had to whip out my slightly damaged PS2 to play them... gonna see if I can get the DC input jack re-soldered...

Working On Now

Pokemon Nuzlocke: Hoenn - Prologue - (Something I've been working on for a few months that probably has a better chance of getting me back into writing that Pokemon Tales does... despite how much I don't want to admit it. I'll not promise anything, but instead say that you should be seeing this some time in the future. Also, working title. Need to think of something that isn't quite so bland...)

General Update: (2nd January 2013)

As of now, I've decided that as part of a new year, I'm going to stop trying to continue the stories I've currently got going. Though not completely. Its been a few years now since I tried to get myself rolling with my writing, and though I've had some spurts of activity, it just isn't going anywhere... and I want to rectify that. So rather than mess around trying to continue what I have right now, I'm going to restart Tales and Cycles' End from scratch; hopefully refining my amateurish writing style from the originals in the process. But that might take a little time... since as of right now, I'm working on my Emerald Nuzlocke story, as well as trying to get the challenge finished after taking several months off of trying to get it finished after I got to the final Gym...

Right now, I've got quite a chunk of the first Chapter finished, and I'm just trying to pick out how far in I want the first Chapter to go. After that's done, I'm going to go through it and hopefully get it posted on here... before the end of January. Its not a priority #1 right now, since I've still gotta find a dang job, but I'll definitely work on it for as much free time as I can put into it. I'm hoping to get it done by the weekend, as a personal goal, along with actually finishing the challenge by the end of the month. But we'll just have to see. (I'm wanting to do something with the Legendary Pokemon once I've finished the challenge too, so it won't just finish with the defeat of the Elite Four; the Nuzlocke challenges that I do will all connect to each other in some way, and I've got an idea what I want to do with Emerald's protagonist once the game is over)

Hopefully, there'll be some people out there who want to read this once it comes out, but knowing me, they'll probably steer clear, knowing I'll end up vanishing like Chameleos, heh... but if you do want to read, I thank you for giving me a chance (again, if a returning reader of Tales and my other stuff), and hopefully we'll get this done together! Me doing the writing, and you (hopefully) enjoying the writing and punching me in the head whenever I either vanish for too long or do something stupid!

OH! I forgot to mention! Anyone who offered a character to be used in Pokemon Tales will still be kept; I've got a document of all the characters, including who gave me which one, so don't worry if you think me redoing Tales and Cycles' End resets everything to the beginning. That won't be the case, since things are still going to go as I'd planned-- just rewritten, and hopefully not as amateurish.
