i'm nol, and no, that is not my real name.

i'm a fourteen-year-old guy. i suppose i'm unique in that i may be one of the most balanced people ever as far as my interests. i play running back in football and shortstop in baseball, and i play leads in plays. i write music and play guitar, and i love to write. when i watch tv you may see sportscenter, south park, scrubs, or house on the screen, and other times you may see hannah montana or american idol - seriously. my ipod contains music by the band and the beatles, eminem and 2pac, say anything and blink-182, pearl jam and nirvana, hawthorne heights and linkin park.

i'd like to think i'm a nice guy, but that's not up to me to decide - it's just up to me to strive for.

i do have a history of failing to maintain long stories simply because i did not have them planned out. at all. so from now on, the majority of my posts will probably be oneshots, and if they are multiple-chapter stories, they will be completely planned out - start to finish - if not already written in totality. but the problem with writing oneshots on such active boards as scrubs, hannah montana, and south park is that they will quickly fall from the first page. so i urge you, if you happen upon one of my stories, review, and spread the word if you enjoyed it.

my writing style is generally dark and angsty. i focus on issues that i frequently contemplate myself in my adolescent mind, such as friendship, love, sexuality, neuroticism, and general social discomfort. although the dark side of these issues may not usually reflect my own life, i'd be lying if i said they never entered my mind, as i'm sure they have entered yours when at my stage in life. so, in short, i write what i see, i write what i feel, i write what i understand.
