Hey I'm Violet (no, that's not my real name, I know...) Anyway, I write a lot of short stories and lyrics, though the occasional breakout from my style does turn up every six months...nice to meet you.

I mainly like to spend my time developing severe neck and back pains due to being hunched up in my room (which my entire family has now labelled "The Cave"), sitting at my laptop and losing myself in the interwebs. A fantasy world is so much better than the real one, don't you think? Anyway, once I'm away from my laptop (for school, punishments and the occasional meal) I mainly like reading - fantasy, horror and romance shall do - or playing random tunes on the piano and pretending that one day I'll be famous and people will actually pay to hear them (even my brother won't. I'm not getting far). I mainly like writing short stories - I'm too impatient, and plain inexperienced, to try anything longer - some short pieces, and lyrics (I'm TRYING to develop my skills in songwriting). I got on a high some time ago writing masses of vampire/supernatural fantasy romance stuff, but the whole cursed life - desperate love - angst ridden nightlife thing gets a little claustrophobic after a while. Now I just write and I'm not really sure what my stuff can be classed as, though plenty of people at school have made it known that they think my stories are either disturbingly weird or just plain crap.

Anyway, my dream is to escape my house and one day make people read what I write, though I'm not sure how realistic this is. Oh well, I'm good at dreaming.
