When Hiro is arrested, he has two choices: go to a juvenile detention center or live with his older brother, Tadashi. Once Hiro moves in with the older Hamada and his family, Tadashi becomes determined to uncover everything his brother is hiding. However, Tadashi didn't expect his younger brother to have so many people after his blood and wonders how bot-fighting has scarred him.

Eight months later, Tadashi is found alive, still buried in the debris. But there is a bitter reunion with Hiro, for Tadashi is not happy that his brother is risking his life to be a superhero. As the tensions rise between the brothers, they still must find out how Tadashi survived all this time and investigate the new villain making it's way around San Fransokyo.

It's been roughly a year since the incident at Krei Tech, and Hiro's doing well. That is, if you count crippling social anxiety and terrible aliases 'doing well'. Even so, it's not that bad... until the bodies start to pile up. Who's so desperate to get Hiro's attention that they'll freely murder to get a message across?
