![]() Author has written 6 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, and Naruto. This is my disclaimer for all of my stories: If I actually owned any of the stories I base my work off of, I wouldn't need to use Fanfiction.net. I'd sell my work and make money off of it. Because I am on Fanfiction, it's logical to assume that I don't own any of the stories I base my work off. Another disclaimer: my avatar was drawn by Dokuro-chan101 on DeviantArt. Because there was a download button on the page, I'm assuming that it's ok for me to use it. If anyone knows otherwise, please tell me and I'll change it. This is a note regarding reviews: Pretty much anything goes except inappropriate comments and unnecessary flames. Otherwise, feel free to express your opinion, give constructive criticism, correct my knowledge of canon, or simply state your appreciation :) About me Name: rothfyae. I literally dreamed this name up many years ago. I honestly don't know why it's stuck with me. Native language: English...my only fluent language, though I can't say I'm terrible at reading Latin (of all things). Currently studying Chinese. Things I write: Mostly adventure and fantasy with a splash of humor and romance. Things I don't write: While I have nothing against a dark or angsty character to balance out the cast of characters, I don't really like writing dark or angsty stories. And I don't do straight out romance. Because I'm not a super romantic person (at least not at the moment), I have yet to experience loving another person in a romantic way. I can't write what I don't know (magic and adventure excluded), so I can't write a deep and serious romance of any kind. Books I like: Maximum Ride series, anything by Rick Riordan, The Princess Bride (yes, there's a book), Howl's Moving Castle (yes, it's also a book), the Thrawn Triliogy TV shows I like: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Winx Club, Person of Interest, Merlin, Sherlock, RWBY Movies I like: the Star Wars series, The Princess Bride, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle Manga I like: Naruto, Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, Fushigi Yugi, Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden, S.L.H, Juvenile Orion, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Barajou no Kiss, Hetalia, Boku Dake no Inai Machi, Shingeki no Kyojin Music I like: I swear I'm not a dark or angsty person, but I for some reason I love dark rock- Scandinavian metal and symphonic rock bands like Within Temptation and Leaves Eyes, and American rock bands like Evanescence, Three Days Grace, Green Day, and Linkin Park. I also enjoy K-pop. I do not often update frequently. Sorry about that. Just bear with me, and I'll do my best to make sure you guys enjoy what I write when I update. Current Stories Akatsuki at Hogwarts- due to some reckless stupidity on Tobi's part, the Akatsuki are reduced to age 11 and wind up in Hogwarts. Because they don't know how to go back home, they attend the school, are amazed by the techniques, and attempt to learn them. In the process, hilarity ensues as the Weasely twins recruit them as pranksters and Professor Umbridge and her Inquistorial Squad set out to catch them. Side Work (on site and not abandoned, but in the works) Spirited- AU. Twenty-five spirits were released after Orochimaru’s last experiment misfired. Some of those spirits were good and some were not. They sought out vessels so that they could be active in the human world, the good spirits planning to help it and the evil ones plotting to take over it. Jiraiya and Tsunade, under their superior’s orders, are tasked with tracking down those vessels and training them to fight for Konoha. If only it was that easy… They now have to deal with the bunch of super-powered kids that they found, as well as with the ones they didn’t. And those kids are a spirited bunch- literally. Demon Tamer- an AU in which three year old Hinata was successfully kidnapped by Kumo in the Hyuga Affair. A twist of fate ensured that little Hinata was lost on the way to Kumo, lost her memory, lost some of her hearing, and miraculously turned up alive in Suna. Suna, of course, was thrilled that they now had access to Konoha's Byakugan, and so had little Hinata renamed and raised by a civilan family who would send her to the Academy so that she could be integrated into Suna's forces and eventually create a line of Byakugan users for the village. Given the fact that Hinata, now Yukiko, is an easy-going child with a desire to please, such a thing seems very likely. But when Yukiko befriends the demon of Sunagakure, Gaara, before the incident of his uncles betrayal can change him, things start changing in ways no one could predict. And when the Chunin Exams in Konoha come along, how will Suna cover up their secret project? Future Gaara x Hinata Brewing... Adventures of a Ramen Shop Owner's Daughter - an AU featuring Ayame as the host of an alien mastermind, Jil-Tzaek, which ejected its consciousness from its body when its civilization fell. Naturally, Jil-Tzaek wants its vessel to be worthy of holding it, so it hones the little girl into its own weapon with its vast range of knowledge. In an impressively short span of time, Ayame meets two Uchiha prodigies, grows in strength, and gains the power to change Konoha's future. Wrapped around her Little Finger- a modern school AU with Ino x Akatsuki. I've seen a bunch of Sakura and some with Hinata, but not so many (if any) with her. It'll be a modern twist on the whole Shinobi Nations thing, with Ino attending the presitigous ANBU Academy, an international boarding school named for the well-known ANBU of the old Konoha. She's gone to Fire Nation's shinobi schools in Konoha through junior high, and now her parents are sending her to ANBU to become a full-fledged kunoichi. Unfortunately for hot-headed Ino, ANBU's student body is controlled by a little alliance called Akatsuki. She won't stand for that. With Hinata and her new friend Temari, she's determined to gather a group of girls big enough to challenge the almost all-male Akatsuki. Akatsuki doesn't think they'll be a problem, but they underestimate the tactics and charms of determined kunoichi...before they know it, they're wrapped around their little finger! Fushigi Yugi: Kamigami no Senso- a prophecy said that after the four gods had been summoned seven times each, the world would fall to ruin, and the gods themselves would the last four priestesses to right the world for eternity. And so, yanked from their own world, four young ladies fight to survive in a strange, corruption-ravaged world where everything that they stand for is considered a ludicrous myth. Fushigi Yugi: Saisei to Azuma no Shokan- Yui starts missing her seishi dearly, and though Seiryuu is sealed, he can still see his miko's heart. Suddenly Yui finds herself surrounded by new friends in the real world who are strangely familiar to her... |
