![]() Author has written 16 stories for Naruto, Maximum Ride, Moon Child, Boondock Saints, Limitless, Star Trek: 2009, Teen Wolf, and Umbrella Academy. I AM CAKE! Hi! I'm Jaded. You can call me that. (Or anything really, I respond to most things shouted in my general direction. A friend of mine is particularly fond of Lord Jordamort and You With The Many Faces) My Ao3 Pseud archiveofourown.org/users/JadedFalling (I post here first all official-like and over there I am bread) My Tumblr jadedfalling.tumblr.com (though it's like just funny crap and pictures of pretty celebs, some headcanons and meta - I might be a little obsessed with My Completely OUTDATED and Abandoned LiveJournal insanitys-muse.livejournal.com (Filled with old Jrock fic from when I was like 16 so there's... that...*shudder* so... if that's like... your thing... maybe check it out?) Anygay, pretty much How is one to live a moral and compassionate existence when one is fully aware of the blood, the horror inherent in life, when one finds darkness not only in one's culture but within oneself? If there is a stage at which an individual life becomes truly adult, it must be when one grasps the irony in its unfolding and accepts responsibility for a life lived in the midst of such paradox. One must live in the middle of contradiction, because if all contradiction were eliminated at once life would collapse. There are simply no answers to some of the great pressing questions. You continue to live them out, making your life a worthy expression of leaning into the light. Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today. If I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you! - A Wise Person O_9 (ON a COMPLETELY unrelated note, my profile picture, the cake, the rainbow cake, the cake that looks gay and a little bit rainbow, that cake, inspired me to make delicious rainbow cupcakes. They were bomb and now I make them on special occasions for like birthdays and shit. The cake has become a part of me. I am one with the cake.) UwU |
