I'm currently at college working towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering...so, not exactly the type of degree that would lead towards a successful fanfiction career. I've always been an avid reader though and when I finish a book or series I always want it to keep going so I turn to here :) . I've tried writing before but I always seem to lose interest after the first chapter or so...but I've finally got an idea I think I can stick with (I'm up to chapter 3!). It's still a very rough copy though, it will still be awhile before it is anywhere near posting level.

I read books of all kinds from classical to modern fiction, adult to teenage level. College has put a damper on how much time I have to actually read but I still try to get through a book every week - week and a half.

Currently Reading : Wizard and Glass - Stephen King's Dark Tower Series

Favorite Books/Authors: Vanity Fair - if you haven't read it yet I demand that you go out and do so right this instant, don't even wait to finish reading my profile

Anything by Jane Austen or the Bronte sisters - I'm such a sucker for old romance

Amy Tan - There is so much more to her than the Joy Luck Club, go find it!

Stephen King - I love the whole psychological, social critique aspect of his books. So many people right him off as a simple horror writer but there really is a depth to him

So, listing all of my favorites would take a lifetime so there is just a sample. I'll probably be updating/changing it constantly to reflect my current mood.

I'm currently working on the above piece but due to my fears of not finishing it (and I hate it when authors leave a story hanging) I am going to refrain from posting it until it is finished.
