There is no excuse. Plagiarism is, and will always be, theft. If I come across it, I'll report it and many with me.

Spare yourself the embarrassment: just don't do it.

I adamantly refuse to copy-and-paste lists, made-up stories, quizzes and similar matters on my profile (with as sole exception the mention that I am part of HPFC) to show my appreciation for this-or-that or to show how against something I am. This is a profile - not a blog, nor a collection of chain-letters, nor a scrapbook. Posting a thousand-and-one lists does not make this place interesting, as there are a thousand-and-one users who also have those lists there.

All it does is make others have to scroll down further to reach my stories - which is what the majority of visitors to a profile comes here for. That, or to learn basic information about said user.
