My little sister came home from school one day and demanded I take her to the library so she could get books on sign language.I asked why? She told me there was a new kid at school who was deaf and she wanted to befriend him.Today, I stood beside her at their wedding watching her sign... "I DO".

I was on the bus the other day and a down syndrome older man got on and started happily chatting to a woman and without saying a word she moved to the back of the bus.The man looked deeply hurt, seeing this, an old woman went and sat next to him and they chatted all the way to his stop.

Two boys decided that they would go ice skating on a frozen pond. As one boy skated, the ice broke underneath his skates and he started drowning. The other boy rushed to save him, but he fell in, too. His dog, who was tied onto a tree broke the leash and ran across the ice in order to save his owner life, and he did.

The other day I was buying a gift for someone. As I was placing my change back in my wallet, a little dime fell and traveled 5 feet from me. I just ignored it. Next thing I saw was an elderly man bend over to pick it up and slowly walked towards me. He smiled and handed me the dime with a shaking hand, saying "Save up, you'll need it one day."

I was walking to my next lesson at school There's a girl everyone calls 'witch girl' She has a hard life. Some boys stole her bag and threw it on the ground. The most popular boy in school bent over, picked it up and gave this year 7 girl a hug when she was crying.

I confessed to my best friend, who recently became my boyfriend, that I'd been used and abused by guys before I'd met him. He was quiet when I finished and finally said, "I'm sorry." "Why're you apologizing?" I asked him. "Because somebody should," was all he replied.
