Hey guys! My name is Marissa, though you can call me Riss. I'm currently a sophomore in high-school, which means I'm 15 years old. On May 23rd of 2012, i'll be celebrating my sweet 16! I am an only child with her original two parents, my amazing father that is always there for me to give me suggestions on my work- and my mother who keeps me going when times are rough. Also! I have a beautiful black cat that is snoring on my bed while I'm typing this. Her name is Savannah and she's one of the fattest cats you'll ever see in your life. But she's a love bug...so it's okay. :)

First and foremost, there's the thing about my profile picture- I don't usually like sharing what I really look like with the world of a site until I'm comfortable! Sorry, but no real pictures until I have a feeling no ones going to end up knocking on my window in the middle of the night. However, I will tell you that I'm 5'5" and have very SHORT brunette hair (if you've seen Twilight, imagine Alice Cullen; or you could say I've got Rapunzel's hairstyle from Disneys movie, Tangled) and my fathers brown eyes. Yep... I'm pretty weird. ;)
Um... music? My ipod is an ipod video (one of those original ginormous ipods that holds around 30 GB of memory). I've got more than 800 songs on my ipod... so that means I don't really have a favorite artist or band. I like every type of music EXCEPT rap. You can't spell crap without rap. I think its terrible. Anyway! Some artists that I listen to a lot are (in no particular order): Enya, Lady Antebellum and Maaya Sakamoto (just three of like a million others that I like).

Have I been on any other fanxfiction sites? Yes. Only one though- as I usually don't have time to write down some silly story that no one gets unless you've seen/read/played the series. I have an account (that I no longer use) on narusaku.com (Heaven & Earth)- my username is What-Have-You-Done. This was a year or two ago- but I'll be uploading some stuff that I think is worthy of my recognition here. Do I roleplay? Why yes! I do a semi-realistic wolf role play, and that's it. The site I work my magic on is called blossomforestrpg.com. That's where my real writing style comes to life :)

The best question you could ever ask me is if I watch anime- which by the way, is an absolute yes. I started off with Sailor Moon when I was really little, and since then I've watched nearly all the movies from Studio Ghibli (Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, The Cat Returns,etc.)... i've also seen many other anime movies: Sky Crawlers, Final Fantasy (who knows which one lol!), Grave of the Fireflies (saddest...movie...ever), Steam Boy and a few more that I can't remember. I've finished Wolf's Rain (the only anime I've ever cried for), Card-Captor Sakura, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Naruto, Tokyo Mew Mew, Vampire Knight (and Guilty), Ranma 1/2, Loveless, off and on for Dragon-ball z Kai, and Inu-Yasha, as well as Fullmetal Alchemist just recently. I'm currently working on reading and/or watching Kobato, xxxHolic, Shugo Chara, Naruto Shippuden, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Spice and Wolf, Kyoukai No Rinne, and Chobits. And yes. I don't care if you think it's gross. I'm a yaoi fan... no haters! :D

One thing you should know. I love to read. What books have I had in my grasp forever? I'm a fan of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, David-Clement Davies the Sight, the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paoloni, Memoirs of a Geisha, and other such LARGE books that everyone pokes fun at me for reading. I have even read all those Peter Pan books that J.M. Barrie wrote back in the early 1900's (although they're quite short)! Well anyway, I absolutely adore writing as well. I've been asked many times by current and past teachers to be placed in AP (advanced placement; aka: college course) writing classes- but I denied each time- i think i'll join next year.

For the TV series that I watch- I usually flick the channel to abc family's Pretty Little Liars. I absolutely adore that show! My friends and I have little pow-wows so that we can watch the season premiers together and such... but I also like watching the science channel (everything on there is amazing), the Military Channel (Tank Wars!) and Animal Planet (River Monsters).

What am I here for? I guess I'm here because I just recently got back into Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness... i've never finished the game Mineral Town or IoH (the only two I have *insert sad face here haha*), and I would love to do so! I saw a fanfiction with Shea and Chelsea and I was like "this...is amazing. i want to have a go!"
