Two years before the start of the movie, the Hamada family was subject to a tragedy that would shake Tadashi's perception on his actions and life, forever. Hiro is struggling to fit in at High School, and his actions will shape the course of their family, forever. After all, something had to spark Baymax into being, right?

The Alliance has fallen into a very well laid trap and now Luke has no choice but to hand himself over to Vader. But what does the father have in store for the son? Eight months later, Tadashi is found alive, still buried in the debris. But there is a bitter reunion with Hiro, for Tadashi is not happy that his brother is risking his life to be a superhero. As the tensions rise between the brothers, they still must find out how Tadashi survived all this time and investigate the new villain making it's way around San Fransokyo.
