I'm a born reader, thanks to my mother. She loved to read and imparted that love to me. I had an entire bookcase of books I'd bought (or more accurately, that my parents bought for me) by the time I made it out of elementary. And the library was one of my favorite locations. I didn't really start writing for myself until I was in my late teens, early twenties. I've completed a few stories and come up with dozens of plots through the years. I write purely for my own enjoyment, though my husband is constantly telling me to get something published so he can retire. :) I am nowhere near brave enough to publish anything I've written. Not yet, at least. Perhaps one day I'll work up the courage. In the meantime, I'll content myself with reading the works of other creative people and continuing to work on my own stories.
