You will play as a tribes person, living your daily life as the human race does now, in the year of 3040: fighting robotic beasts, gathering parts as resources to craft weapons and armor to fight even more robotic beasts... We are set in times as if Aloy had never existed. There is an encroaching evil making the robots more and more aggressive towards humans and there are the human cultists known as the Eclipse who admire this evil and seek to aid it, ignorant to the ill intent that it has. It's a race against time to save the world from the dawning corruption and you'll be a part of it...

Play by Post Roleplay Forum EXPLAINED:

So a play by post roleplay forum is actually a very fun and interactive way to write. You basically take turns posting your writing to where your two characters play out a story. The game will have a specific setting and environment for your characters to interact in. You can also make friends with other members by getting to know each other on the site's chat box and just have fun and be creative! Writers unite!

There are also things called "faceclaims" or "playbys" which are basically images of real people that you choose to represent your character's appearance. Celebrities are the most commonly used as playbys. It will all make more sense and won't sound so weird and confusing once you've delved into the site a bit. But I can assure you it's LOADS of fun and everyone and anyone who is there can help you out and answer your questions; no question is a bad question!
