In the dimly lit room, the man sat behind his desk, deep in thought as he stroked his beard.

"I agree, it would be best if we were to rescue our friend. There is no doubt that if another threat were to rise, that we would be in need his power once again. However, you cannot be hasty young one. The recent battle has left your mind and body, not to mention your heart severely weakened, and while we could attempt a rescue, as things it would no doubt end in failure, and you would both be lost." He said.

"I... I know that... that is why I came here, to fix that." The young lady responded. "I need to be prepared, but I need your guidance to do so. Please, it's my fault that he is in this situation, so I need to save him as soon as possible."

At that, the man appeared to be in deep thought once again. "Hm... very well then. In that case I advise you to retrace his steps. Visit the worlds he has seen, and soon you shall find the answers you seek. His other self should be more than capable of guiding you in the right direction, so seek him out." The Old Man said. "And one last thing..."

The machine looked over to the boy on the ground, which bought enough time for his previous opponent to come in through the wall, and charge into the robot, sending them both through another wall.

The duo were approaching the exit to the tower. When they arrived, they leapt out of the very same window that they entered through.

Deciding that he needed to slow down their decent, the boy grabbed the girl's hands and flew away as fast as he possibly could.

When they landed, they turned around, and were only able to watch…

The entire tower suddenly went up in flames, in a massive explosion that shook the ground around them.

And the girl screamed like never before.

Real talk? Some of the chapters in this story are going to be longer than some of my other stories... the entire stories. Look forward to this!

Writers block is really hitting me hard these past couple of weeks, I will try to get this story started ASAP though, end of September for sure.
