I like...books, inventing stories, films (if they're good), classical music (not only, but mainly), botany, languages, learning about history, Scotland.

I don't like...spiders, seafood, and spinach. I also hate it when someone sings/makes music so horribly wrong my toenails furl. Unfortunately, I also don't like being wrong, or having to admit to a mistake. (My fatal flaw?)

Best Book Recently Read: "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffner and Annie Barrows. Aw, almost all the characters were so darling (and yes, that includes Adelaide Addison (Mrs) in all her crankiness, but not Markham V. Reynolds Junior. You know what you did.). And it's been a while since I found myself to simply agree with a character's general attitude and opinions on things, let alone multiple characters'.

Worst Book Recently Read: I honestly can't remember. I've read so few books...reading loses its appeal when you have to do it for a deadline. So whatever I read, I make sure it's worth my while.
