When Frisk's mother sacrifices herself for her child's well being, by jumping off of the edge of the mountain with Frisk still in her arms, Toriel makes a promise to raise the child as her own. But, things go from bad to worse when Frisk's father not only jumps down the mountain, but brings a bunch of armed men with him as well. He demands his daughter back. Female Frisk.

Something is wrong with Frisk. Every night and day she is plagued with dreams of killing her family, one by one. Now telling the difference between reality and nightmares has become much harder, and is threatening to tear her and her family apart.

After saving the Underground, Frisk returns home to fulfill their duties as the good child. To say it doesn't go as planned is an understatement. Turns out they still have a lot to learn about what family means. Rating may go up as the story progresses. Takes place Post-Pacifist.

Frisk wakes up on the cold floor of the Ruins with no idea of where he was or how he ended up there. Luckily a white-furred monster child finds and rescues him. But little does he know that he wasn't meant to be here and that the child he stole this timeline from watches on, silently plotting his revenge. AU in which Frisk takes Chara place (much to the latter's displeasure).

Being a foster parent isn't easy, Toriel learns. Especially when this foster child sees everyone they meet as a monster and claims to have an imaginary friend who tells them to do things. But hey, kids have active imaginations, right?
