I'm a writer of just about anything: songs, stories, articles, you name it, I can probably write it.

Anything animated, 3D or otherwise, is what inspires me. Though my inspirational saving grace has been Rainbow's Winx Club. Being an adult, I love animation and CGI movies from Disney/Pixar and Dreamworks. My all time favorite character? TinkerBell.

I'm also an artist, though I'm kinda rusty due to my workload on the job. A tiny bit of my work can be found on dA as well. I create characters too, and have only five genuine original characters to my credit.

A hallmark in my writing is the presence of the mythical Phoenix. One of my all time favorite mythical characters, in many cultures, it is a sign of longevity, wealth, and immortality. To me, it's a testament of the strength of the human spirit. When we fall down, or we're pushed down, we get back up again, to many's surprise. Just as the Phoenix burns itself to ashes at the end of its life cycle, only to emerge days later, stronger than the previous time. So are we. We're considered dead and buried, yet we rise from the ashes, smarter, wiser, and stronger than before.

A dragon's life, from its birth, is filled with peril. From constantly being hunted to releasing unnecessary attacks for its defense, grief and pain is sometimes all it knows. Rejected among society, it tends to live the life of a hermit. Yet when its life nears an end, it dives into the flaming lava from whence it came.

But in one dragon's existence, just when its life was at an end, it made a fire and was consumed by its own flames. Yet from the ashes emerged something unusual. Instead of dying, it became a figure even greater than before. Experiencing tragedy, pain and grief, its destiny was altered. As with our lives, just when we think our lives are over, we become greater than we were before.

The fire is the anger or rage inside us. The ashes represent the grief and pain, as well as tragedy we experience.
And with a great cry, from the ashes, a phoenix rises…
