I live to read, and am thrilled when a language is used to perfection. In books, commercials or even in scientific papers. A sentence is so much more than the sum of its words. But sadly it goes both ways. To me there is no torture like that of reading bad language. And while I am in the happy position that I know good craft when I see it, I'm not that good at dissecting my own words. So please: do comment on my work. I learn by critisism.

There is no play ground like that of language. Written, spoken or sung.

As for favourite authors, who have defined my style of writing? Well, they exist. To give you a sample: Steph Swainston, Jane Austen, Tolkien, and Heinrich Mann (no, not the one with the Nobel, but his brother!). So if you do feel as if you are rereading Pride and Pred (or any other book you think I've read), be sure to tell me. I remember phrases to such a degree, that I sometimes believe they are mine.
