![]() Author has written 3 stories for Diablo, Spyro the Dragon, and RWBY. New Profile. Yes it's been years since I updated this. In fact I actually forgot about it. So, I'm K. I do stuff and that stuff happens to be write stories, play games and work. Occasionally there is eating and sleeping in there as well but who has time for that? Now onto the new profile! Stories: The Kalathanon Files: This story is the prelude, if you will, to A Story of Kalathanon. The Kalathanon Files is finished but I still occasionally run through the chapters and correct errors in them and such. Last update to this was spelling and grammar corrections to the condensed chapters on April 9th 2015. A Story of Kalathanon: The main course, or the first course if you will in my story series. This is still in progress with sixty-nine chapters out and more to come it is a Leviathan of a read, assuming that you care for the crazy warping way my mind writes plot that is if not you will probably be turned off to it in a few chapters or so. Chapter 70: In progress, 35% writing. I am also working on spelling and grammar corrections to all the chapters and the first sixty have been updated as of May 20th 2015. I am also working on a Dragon Company Character profile list so all the casual readers of the stories don't have to keep up with all 300 something characters that are involved. It is maybe 18% done. How I write: I write by getting into character if you will. If I am working on a section that is being told from Diablo's perspective I will first try and get into that character's head. Now over the course of the books the characters have morphed. Exe. the Diablo we knew at the beginning of the series that was cruel, cunning and murderous. Is now, still cunning but is loyal and considers himself to be more of a guardian than a killer. Now will he still kill a whole planet of people, absolutely but it will be for a different reason than when we first met him. So I try to not only get into the character as he or she is portrayed in their original universes but I also keep in mind the adjustments that have occurred throughout their time with DC. Once I'm in character then it is just a matter of analyzing the situation through that character's eyes and having them react to it. I do this with all the characters that the perspective character is interacting with as well but to a lesser degree as the reader does not get to hear the thoughts of the other characters. Spoken words are in regular font. Thoughts are in italics. Song Lyrics are Underlined. On rare occasions I will use bold or CAPS to emphasize yelling or to emphasize someone stressing a word. Regarding profanity, sex, etc. I do not use F.U.C.K. because it is not a word it is an acronym for 'fornication under consent of king' and it makes no sense to me to use it. I will occasionally use damn, shit, bastard, hell etc. but I prefer to use blarg in place of these because of a running joke and yes I do break character to use it, deal with it. Besides, having Diablo roar Blarg you at someone is hilarious. Sex is only ever referenced and there is no lemons or smut. regarding violence well that is up to you the reader, I leave a lot of the story's description up to the mind of the reader, if you want that demon that Blake just beheaded to explode into a pretty blood fountain you can do that, conversely if you want to switch on the grunt B-Day skull or the flower blood mutater go for it. It's your mind and I've left the books open enough for you to interpret it how you will. |
