I'm an aspiring writer from the quaint little state of Maine. Yes, that means I'm practically in Stephen King's backyard, and yes, I have read a LOT of his work and I'm a huge fan. (To be even more fair, he's probably the biggest influence on my writing.) Fiction is my passion; it's what I love to do, and my dream is to one day write fiction for a living. That's a rather ambitious dream, and I cling to that dream with the realization that it may or may not happen... but whether it does or not, writing is something I will always do. I have to; it really feels like I was made to do this. I also enjoy writing columns. During my senior year in high school I had my own humor column, and I think 90% of my popularity was derived from that little rag of a paper. I'm also a huge music fan, in case you interested (and I'm SURE you are); Metallica, AC/DC, Rush, and Megadeth are my favorites.
