Author has written 3 stories for Devil May Cry.
You have been registered here since 2015. Why are you starting to write fan fictions now?
Actually I already wrote some fan fictions many years ago. But in German and for another platform. I don't even know if they still exist (they weren't good anyway). Until recently, I concentrated only on my original content (also in my native language). But a writer's block and unexpected plot holes keep me from making any progress. But in order not to go crazy or get out of practice I remembered this platform again. And since this community consists mainly of English stories I am in the process of adapting. ;)
What do we see?
A red-haired, pale woman with green eyes and a piercing in her lower lip. The torn T-shirt she's wearing has a big print in the shape of a horned skull and above it the band name “Danzig” in big distorted letters. Her tattoos flash through the holes in the fabric. She does not consider it necessary to wear trousers. She sits with crossed legs on a huge sofa, cuddled up in a mountain of pillows and reads a book. Around her there is a chaos of notebooks, writing utensils and socks. Music can be heard from somewhere.
Who are you?
She looks up from her book. Clearly annoyed that she was torn from her daydreams.
Almost everyone calls me Betty, even my family. I am a moody Gemini who has a talent for attracting people who like to talk a lot. Good for me because most of the time I'm not very talkative myself. But I like to watch people.
What do you like?
Thoughtfully she inflates her cheeks before answering.
Coffee, books, my boyfriend, my crazy girls, swearing, my OCs, cats, melancholy, music, coffee, Pinterest, discussions, my cosy corner and more coffee.
What don't you like?
Too many things, too many to list them all. Trousers, milk, moths, feet, strangers, social media, Biowares downfall, pigs and thunderstorms.
Your taste in music?
Diverse. Just take a look at my Spotify-thing: bwttyboom (yes, the 'w' is correct).
Do you have any strange habits?
Ooooh yes!
When I come home from a stressful day at work, I like to lie down on the kitchen counter and whine about my life while my boyfriend makes me a nice cup of coffee.
If someone wants to take something out of my hands that I don't want to give away, I start hissing.
When my friends bend down in front of me, I can't help but dry hump them (they are used to it and just ignore me xD).
I've been told these weird habits make me kind of charming.
Any Plans for future fan fictions?
Yes, there are. If I really realize them, depends on how long I still have fun with this kind of stuff.
(and if you like what I do. ;) )
Before I even start anything else, I have to finish Silver Bullet first.
Here are some ideas:
Fear
(highly unlikely to happen)
A word so fragile sounding, almost melodious and so easy to pronounce, yet it was tied to one of the oldest emotions known to mankind.
It was the first word I learned when I began to exist.
My hands trembled as I lay on the ground, taking my first breaths and looking up at the man who, until a few moments ago, had been a part of me.
Before he cut me off and threw me away like a loveless object.
With an agony filled scream, he surrendered to the demon that raged in his chest.
I could only watch helplessly, as my other self, slowly vanished and a grotesque monster stepped in his place.
Devil From The Other Side
The plot is simple: Nero is thrown into a parallel universe by a mighty demon and lands... in Limbo.
And there he meets the infamous Reboot-Dante. I want to dare something humorous here. But only when I have more practice ;)
I will try to give the reboot a little chance in this story. I'm not the biggest fan of DmC (or Devil may Crap).
However, after I found out a bit more about the development and that Capcom had demanded all these changes, I think it deserves its place in the franchise.
Subhuman
Year 30XX, Galaxy Fortuna
Space is a hostile place.
The monstrous creatures that live in it strive for your life,
and if they don't kill you, the outlaws will cut your throat only to get their hands on your precious possessions.
This danger is what the Redgrave brothers want, this is what they need to feel alive.
They serve the government and the military as Soldiers. Since their childhood they have been modified and trained for it.
They are Subhumans.
(I am so hyped for this!)
Really? Don't you have anything else in mind besides Devil May Cry? Isn't that getting boring?
Nope.
Well. I am a huge fan of Dragon Age and a lot of other stuff. But...meh.
It might seem a bit exaggerated to include this to my profile, but it is important to me. So...
English is not my mother tongue, but I am determined to improve myself.
Speaking it is not the problem, because we almost exclusively speak English in our household.
However, writing is a completely different challenge.
