Hi. My name's BraveFlight for the upcoming Disney movie BRAVE and well, flight is pretty cool.

My favorite books? The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series is the best overall series ever!! It's so, so, so beautifully random. I like Maximum Ride fanfictions much more than the actual books, since I've only read up to Max. A whole lot of the kid's fiction in the library is my best friend.

I used to be someone that was really quiet when I rode my school bus everyday. The next year, I made a friend and she brightened everything and taught me how to talk and be friendly. Even though I never see her anymore, I am thankful for her everyday and hope that all of you find a friend like that. It's all because of her that I am capable of making friends today, and am even called a chatterbox sometimes. It amazes me, and I'm so glad.

The following is a couple paragraphs I wrote when I was angry one day:

You know what I hate? When authors don't like criticism. Results, not excuses. That's my band's motto. It's there for a reason. Don't say that you can have bad grammar and mistakes just because you're in 8th grade. I know that people on fanfiction aren't perfect writers; I know I'm not the person you're writing for. I didn't write out a review for you because I think the world revolves around me. I wrote a review because I like the story, and I was told that fanfiction is a community for making writing better. I'm sorry that you don't want criticism on what you can do to get better; I'm sorry you don't like that I said "Thank you" for using correct grammar.

The authors like that make me leave fanfiction, and make me extremely sad. Reviews...people's feelings... they're precious. You don't have a right to take it out on people. If you don't want feedback then say it out front, and I won't bother writing a review. You would think that constructive criticism would be better than simply saying "Loved it!", but no, I think that's all that you want. The good that came out of this experience, in my opinion? I'll try to be even more careful to what I say to people. Thanks for that, I suppose.

Yes, I'm overreacting. Does the author deserve it? Undoubtedly not. I'm not even using correct grammar in my sentences here. Just one more thing, then - I don't know why you think I'm condescending you. That really wasn't my goal. I write in the same review style for everyone. I'll be taking this odd experience with me in the future, but I still don't know what you would have preferred I wrote. Something like "Hey, nice story line. Nothing wrong at all!"? That would be a lie.

If I wanted to go easy on myself, I could simply say you're being completely irrational, and I have no fault at all. That's not true either. I'll try to write more kindly, to some extent, but there's a limit between being nice and giving a worthwhile review. Of course I get the meaning of your words and can understand it if I gloss over the mistakes, but wouldn't it help you in the future and be better in general if it was just done right? Do you not want to do things right? If you don't feel any compulsion to make things better... just say it in the beginning, and I won't bother reading or reviewing.
