Author has written 1 story for Elder Scroll series. (I speak a bit of french, but I'm not fluent. And I write it better than I speak it. Pardon the lack of accents, I don't know how to write them with the computer.) I'm not good enough with french to where I can read and write it easily, or get full comprehension when I listen to it spoken, or speak it myself well, but I do feel smart when TV or movies or books or plays or Dragon Age fanfiction contains some phrase in french and I actually understand what the hell they're saying. And it's kind of fun to turn the language setting on a game away from the native language to see how much you can pick up on, I did that for some time in Assassin's Creed. My Stories The Eye of the Storm: One morning the character of Cassandra worked her way into my head and demanded to be written. She's the main reason I've signed up for this site, as I've been coming here since October of 2013 but never felt compelled to sign up. A brief summary of the story is that it follows the basic plot of Skyrim with a Hero of Kvatch-Dragonborn team up with maybe a half dozen OCs to make things more interesting. I'll try to update once a week. Update day is Saturday. Characters: A brief summary and description of each character as they appear. Cassandra: Champion of Cyrodiil and Sheogorath. Has access to a few abilities specific to Gods, but none that make her so powerful as to overshadow the others of the group. Carries daedric equipment, a bow, a dagger, a chestplate, gauntlets, and greaves, but no helmet. The greaves are enchanted to muffle sound. Also carries the Wabbajack, except she can use it much more efficiently being Sheogorath. She is the ranged fighter. Has shoulder length midnight black hair, braided to be kept out of her face. She is five feet and ten inches tall, and she has caramel cream skin, being an Imperial. She has a very thin, lithe frame, although it is offset by the heavy armor she wears. Has bright green eyes, but since becoming Sheogorath they have changed. When she uses divine power or seeks to display her divinity, the pupils glow with a blinding white light and the irises have golden streaks running through them. She appears to be in her mid-twenties, as that was her age when she became Sheogorath. Vorald: Dragonborn. Carries mostly ebony equipment, a battleax, a chestplate, greaves, gauntlets, and a full helmet. No enchantments. Wears an Amulet of Talos. Dragon shouts around chapter nine, although they don't become an asset in combat until after High Hrothgar. The "damage dealer." He is very broad-shouldered. Has blond hair that reaches his shoulders, and is cut in an uneven fashion to lend him a "rugged" look. He has no beard, but he does not shave very carefully, so he has a lot of stubble. Very pale skin. Has sky-blue eyes. Is six foot one. He is in his early thirties. He is a Nord. Runilus: Ex-Thalmor officer. A master of destruction magic. Wears master level destruction robes, a master hood, and several rings to fortify his destruction spells or increase his magicka pool. Also has something called the Amulet of the Thalmor Officer, which does not exist in canon and has an enchantment that also does not exist. The amulet stores a spell within it that he can call on, and it works similar to weapon enchantments. Carries a steel dagger for "just in case." He is the group's "glass cannon." He is very tall, about six feet and four inches, but he has little muscle mass. He is an Altmer, so like them he has golden skin and angular elven features. He has chocolate brown eyes and pale blond hair that falls across his face like a mat (straight and never sticking up.) His hair falls to his ears, but not past, and he is clean shaven on his face and his hairline. Gro'bak: Mercenary. Wears orcish armor and prefers a sword and shield style. He is fairly intelligent and the most calm and level-headed. Serves as the group's tactician, as well as it's "protector," who can soak up damage. An Orc, green-skinned. Very muscular. He is about five nine. Shaves his hair and his beard down to the stubble. Has brown eyes. He is heavily scarred, and his most distinguishing feature is a scar that runs across his forehead, over his left eye, and down his cheek where it stops. Joneif: Werewolf. Wears a wolf hide cloak that morphs into his skin during transformations, and reforms around him when they have run their course. Wears the Ring of Hircine for infinite transformations. Man form is very muscular, one of the stongest of the group. He is a redguard, so has the very dusky features. He is five feet and eleven inches tall. His most distinguishing feature is his golden eyes, like that of a wolf. His hair is brown, and both his hair and his beard are very uneven because he cuts them with a knife when they get too long. When he is in wolf-form, he is seven feet tall, even more muscular, and his fur is the same color as his hair. K'Shar: Dark Brotherhood assassin, wears their leather armor and wields the Blade of Woe. He also keeps a few iron quality throwing knives on his person, so that they are easy to replace if lost. The group's "rogue." A khajit. Tenacious fighter with midnight black fur across his body. He wears three gold earrings on his left ear. Has a round face and dark green eyes. 5 feet and nine inches tall. Esmerelle: Mage of the College of Winterhold. She wears conjuration robes and relies primarily upon alteration and conjuration spells. She also happens to be an expert healer, and that is her primary function within the group. Breton mage who comes in at about five feet seven inches tall. She elects to wear no hood and she has gaunt features, thin eyebrows, light brown hair and light blue eyes. Triggers Coarse language-fuck, shit, prick, ass, bitch, etc. No racial slurs aside from elf and nord inflected as insults. Mentioned curses aren't used often, and never just for the sake of throwing around expletives. It'll either be used accurately in a specific situation, or to convey a mood of either extreme emotion or extreme casualness. Violence- I like action. As a result it is all over this story. However, I'm not trying to go all sociopath, so I'll try to not get overly graphic in the combat. Sex-This story is not for smut. I'm not doing sexually explicit content, it's uncomfortable to read which means it will probably be impossible to write. However, there are suggestive themes and sexual encounters where the naughty bits are left to the imagination, mainly the work of a certain character who gets introduced about halfway through. She's inspired by Zevran Arainai and Isabella, to the Dragon Age fans that should explain any sexual situation in the story. (To people who are not Dragon Age fans, Zevran is a promiscuous bisexual assassin from the first game, while Isabella is the same from the opposite gender and in the second game, except she's generally more suggestive and uses innuendo more often while Zevran tends to be more cavalier. But I digress.) There is also another connection between two completely separate characters from the one's she'll be interacting with, which is much less suggestive but still a sexual relationship. Death: Main character death is a real possibility. That said, I don't plan on doing it often, as the cast of character's is awfully small for me to kill them off all the time. 0-1 deaths per book, each one made to be profound and not just like I'm going for cheap tradgedy or for pushing the limit of what fans expect. Although I'm considering taking out one character when he looks to be getting redundant. (The limit is not a guarantee of any death at all, just the possibility. This story isn't truly fully formed until the chapter gets posted, until then my plan is more of a malleable outline.) Fan Followings I like Dragon Age Mass Effect Skyrim One Piece Random quotes I thought I might share (might not be completely verbatim, as I just pulled some memorable ones out) "I am a complete a-hole, but I am not 100% dick." -Star-Lord, Guardians of the Galaxy (2014 movie) ""We do not comprehend the organic fascination with self-poisoning, auditory damage, and sexually transmitted disease." -Legion, Mass Effect 2 "The streets will run red with blood, and civil strife, so that mothers may smile as their children are drawn and quartered." -Mark-Antony, Julius Caesar "War has changed." -Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid 4 "So what will it be then Jack? Loyalty to me or to the mission? Your mentor, or your country?" -The Boss, Metal Gear Solid 3 (or Peacewalker, one of the two) "What kind of message?...Ooh, ooh, I know! A death threat written on the back of an Argonian concubine! Those are my favorite." -Sheogorath, Skyrim "You know what's funny? After everything you've done, I still would have saved you." -Batman, "You know, you're right! That actually is *cough* pretty *cough* funny." -The Joker, Arkham City "You survived an explosion that leveled a mountain and fell out of the Fade. You traveled though time. You faced down a thousand year old magister who started the blights. And dropped a mountain on him. And lived. You single-handedly saved the Orlesian Empire. And you stopped a demon army. Any one of those things would have been impossible. All of them? That's a miracle." -Varric Tethras, Dragon Age Inquisition "Honestly, the quality of rhetoric among bloodthirsty rioters these days." -Arno Dorian, Assassin's Creed Unity |
