Things I despise:

Disregard of the trouble and character development protagonist go through- and by this I mean, one's experiences shape them into who they are. You take away those experiences & end up with a different person. In particular, in the HunterxHunter universe. Togashi is very talented and all the little things help shape and influence his characters to the way they are right now. So unless you really want to change the characters and make them OOC, then don't change such experiences.

This leads to something that's really ticking me off about the HunterxHunter fic here with OCs, in particular, the ones where the oc is a member of the Zoldyck family. This oc has more potential than Killua, and basically take Killua's characteristics and amplifies it on this oc who is more times than not a girl. Everything that happens to this character is "more" than with Killua and really, it just cheapens Killua's character. Togashi was talented enough to create very complex real life personalities for his characters with backgrounds that made them who they are. Another thing is the power level, I recommend authors of this community DO RESEARCH on the power levels of actual characters before you OP the sh#t out of you oc. SERIOUSLY. Especially when authors try make their oc Zoldyck characters stronger than Killua. There's a MF data booklet. Use it. Then compare it to your character. On a scale of 1 to Pluto, how over powered is your character? Also, learning nen at 5yrs is BS (unless its a specialist). So please, I know this is fiction, but be logical about this at least.

ItaxSaku- they never even met, this is such a huge stretch of the imagination, it's reached hyperspace.

Truly Dark Naruto anything- This is just so wrong, no matter what naruto goes through, even if he becomes cynical, or loses hope, he will never be truly Dark. Its just not him and those fics I've read with a DarkNaruto, Naruto became pitiful, no matter how strong he got.

Narutoxharem- I's really sad, and pitiful, when chapters upon chapters are based on Naruto saving and or fighting a girl for the purpose of the chapter being another girl infatuated with him.

Of-course I consciously don't read these, BUT sometimes, people don't put Warnings, and when I encounter such things... it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

So authors, please, put necessary pairings and warnings.

I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me.
I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.

Controversial Issues:

1)Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.

2)Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3)Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4)Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5)Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6)Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7)Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8)Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9)Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...
