Jessica Drew has been the hero Spider-woman for years. She soon discovers that another person like her with an all too similar past and even darker future exists. She now finds herself trying to help him regain his humanity while facing challenges from both her fellow heroes and enemies that would do anything to have him in their possession and her own feelings for the man.
