We all know what happened in "Alone" after Daryl and Beth are cut off during an intimate conversation at the kitchen table, but what would have happened if Daryl didn't open the door? This story is on-going and follows the plot of the show very closely, however, events have been tweaked based on how I think the storyline would have progressed with Beth being alive.

This story will follow the exploits of Daryl Dixon and Beth Greene after the fall of the prison in the Season 4 Midseason Finale. Having lost their home, their family, and friends, Daryl and Beth are forced to set out on their own. Faced with going to jail, Hershel has offered Daryl a way to redeem himself and pay back for the damages done. What happens when Daryl lays his eyes upon the farmer's daughter?

Daryl had messed up, that was a huge understatement, but the idea still held. Now he was sitting in the local hospital in a long room with machines lining the walls and little chambers that housed, in a few of them, tiny bodies like the one he was staring at. According to Sheriff Grimes this little tissue thin body was his – the premature baby girl in there was Daryl's daughter.

Daryl wanted to see her again so bad, since she was gone, but he had never believed and he had also never wanted to see her at a place like this again..

Even when it was in the middle of the night, it was still damn warm, while the full moon and stars were shining down from the dark night sky, lightened them their way home. Beth had always loved such summer nights, hearing the crickets singing their songs, the air smelled like adventures, a gentle breeze was moving trough her hair, such nights were almost magical for her.
