![]() Author has written 1 story for Serenity. "I know a little about a lot of things, and that's just enough to make me dangerous."
So where do I start, what room shall we enter, which doors are better left closed? I suppose the only real place to start is the beginning, so here goes nothing, my name is Chrissi (Pip to my friends), I'm 19 years of age and 100% British. I've been writing for a good 8 of those and writing is the one thing in the world that I am completely comfortable sharing. "If I had a dime for every time you said 'destiny' I'd be even richer." I feel it's only right to do my favourite works in sections, like you see at the top when you're checking the forums, so it only seems right to start with Anime, which, is by no means my favourite, but it is something I did appreciate in my youth and when I was with my ex, which might have contributed to my sudden disliking for it. Amongst my favourite Anime's there is YuGiOh! but definitely none of the newer stuff, it just kind of ruined the whole plot for me when they started all that rubbish later on and I got bored of watching, so I quit after a couple of episodes of GX. I also used to watch Sailor Moon when I was little, and I enjoyed every minute, my favourite character being Sailor Neptune. I used to watch Digimon too, and more importantly Pokemon, and I am a huge fan of all the eeveelutions just because there so damn adorable, but that doesn't mean I'm going to tell you my team of win. That's for me to know, and a possible fan-fiction to find out. The best moment of my 'anime' experience was when Goku went Super Saiyan for the very very first time in Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z. I never had much care for anything beyond Z however I did watch it, my favourite character being Vegeta, even when he was a bit of a dolt to begin with. "I'm holey, Fred, geddit?" I wouldn't say I'm genre specific when it comes to books, I am very much a 'pick it up, read it, then decide' type of person, which I know isn't particularly practical but it will have to do sometimes, considering I don't know what I'm into until I've got past the first chapter. I will confirm however that I have read The Hobbit, all of the LoTR series, and all of the Harry Potter books (my favourite of which is the Goblet of Fire), including the two comic relief books that were released and I am eagerly awaiting J.K. Rowlings new book that will be coming out at some point in my lifetime. I will also admit to reading Richard Hammond's short biography that he released after he hospitalised himself by accident, as well as reading his fellow colleague, Jeremy Clarkson's vast and ever growing collection of books, but I think that will do on the books now. "Oh god oh god we're all gonna die?" I will admit now that I am actually a bigger fan of TV shows than I am of films, and there are a lot of films that I keep promising myself that I will watch, but I get so wrapped up in the films that I have grown attached to that I kinda forget all about the new ones somewhere along the way. My favourite film of all time is Serenity, and you'll find out why shortly, but it's probably going to be a topic of much musing to me, and will no doubt fill many of my fan-fictions for all of you guys to share. I'm also a fan of the Harry Potter films, Lord of the Rings films, and Jurassic Park films, but as for the rest of them, there's no real point listing them, as I plan to write a small fic for each film I like. "There's a whole in the world like a great black pit, and the vermin of the world inhabit it." So musicals are pretty much my thing, I love them to bits, and there is nothing wrong with a good sing along once in a while right? It just makes you smile and cheers you up when you're feeling blue, unless it's of course Sweeney Todd or anything like that, maybe even Jekyll and Hyde. But my favourite musical of all time is the Producers and you really really cant beat it, but the idea of fan-fic'ing a musical is not really something I'm considering, since, musicals require music which require lyrics and a lot of imagination. "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal." And finally TV shows of which I watch a lot, so I am just going to list them off and not explain anything else, you'll find out, when I write my fics. So we have; Supernatural, Doctor Who, Ashes to Ashes, Life on Mars, The Vampire Diaries, Glee, The Big Bang Theory, Bottom, The Young Ones, Scrubs, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, 10th Kingdom, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, CSI, CSI NY, CSI Miami, True Calling, Ugly Betty, and I'm sure there's more but I can't remember right now! |
