Author has written 2 stories for Phantom of the Opera.
Greetings all I am the Romantic Goth.

I got the name from a friend who used it to describe me. Here you will find mostly stories and some occasional poetry. All subjects will be taken from my obessions and dislikes which are as follows:

Obessions:
Phantom of the Opera

Shakespeare in Love

Wizard of Oz

Angel

Books

Poetry

Music

Movies

Opera

Baking

Writing

Reading

Historical Fiction

Architecture

Interior Design

Ghosts and other supernatural entities

Dislikes:
Dentists

Spiders

Pushy people

Small minded people

People who believe that women are put on this earth only to have children.

All around mean people

Random Qoutes:
"Through me you pass into the city of woe:
Through me you pass into eternal pain:
Through me among the people lost for aye.
Justice the founder of my fabric moved:
To rear me was the task of power divine,
Supremest wisdom, and primeval love.
Before me things create were none, save things
Eternal, and eternal I shall endure.
All hope abandon, ye who enter here."
-Dante Alighieri, The Divine Comedy

"To die, to sleep --
To sleep, perchance to dream, ay there's the rub,
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause; there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life."
-William Shakespeare, Hamlet

"What difference is there between us, save a restless dream that follows my soul but fears to come near you?"
-Kahlil Gibran, "The Captive King"

"Only solitary men know the full joys of frienship. Others have their family; but to a solitary and an exile, his friends are everything."
-Willa Cather, Shadows on the Rock, 1931

"He who is unable to live in society, or who has no need because he is sufficient for himself, must be either a beast or a god."
-Aristotle, Politics

"The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them."
-Mark Twain

"If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were."
-Anon.

"Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, it's what you are expected to give -- which is everything."
-Anon.

"Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within."
-James Baldwin

"Music is well said to be the speech of angels."
-Thomas Carlyle

"The best proof of love is trust."
-Joyce Brothers

"Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast,
To soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak."
N.B.: This quote is commonly misquoted as "savage beast."
-William Congreve

My first story is soon to come. Anyone who is gracious enough to read and review will be on my good side. Anyone who is nice enough to offer constructive criticism will have my utmost respect.

May you always have inspiration and the will to write. ~The Romantic Goth.
