Sojin (OC), Hide's roommate, ends up getting swept up in the world of ghouls when he accidentally stumbles upon Touka discussing Kaneki's fate. Narrowly escaping with his life, he must find out where he fits in among the puzzle of ghouls versus humans and who is friend and foe.

Ghouls have gained the rights of citizens. Naturally, Hide is curious about the monsters known as ghouls. His chance comes when a ghoul orders from his restaurant. Hide wants to meet him again and Kaneki finds himself wanting to know Hide despite the dangers for Hide.

AU. Hide is given a child to raise. A child that is apparently his and some ghoul's offspring. Except the baby is a tube baby that was created and saved from being an experiment.

What happened to turn an innocent boy into a monster?

Panic. That was the feeling that consumed Hide's mind while being held captive in a room for days. But that isn't his only problem; there's something different about his body, and he doesn't know what. After escaping and being reunited with his best friend after months of separation, he soon finds out what has changed. Now, Hide must adapt to this new lifestyle—or die trying.

Sometimes the darkest challenges, the most difficult of lessons, hold the greatest gems of light. Going against what's considered normal is a challenge most people don't like to face. They'd rather turn a blind eye and absently wash the needless blood off their clothes. A group of people - human, ghoul and everything in between - aren't like most people. They are the gems of light.

Set before the events of the anime and manga. Kaneki and Hide find themselves in Purgatory after a ghoul attack. But no fear, they can get out alive, by completing three formidable challenges. As you can imagine, sounds like fun.

Kaneki Ken spent eight years in Yamori's tender care. Scarred beyond belief by his experience at the hands of the most sadistic ghoul out there, there are more things than he picked up from Jason than his eating habits. Thankfully, Rank 3 investigator Suzuya Juuzou seems to be in the same predicament. He won't be alone at CCG, riiight?
