It's Big Mac's birthday and all he wants is a nice peaceful day to read his book. However his two sisters have their own idea of how a birthday should be celebrated.

With difficulty, he raised his hand and slid his mask off, a small trickle of blood falling from the corners of his mouth. Noatak looked up at the girl, kneeling beside him and sobbing quietly, looking at the damage she had inflicted. "Avatar Korra… it has been a pleasure fighting you…"

She makes a bargain with the Equalist leader for the safety of her friends, sacrificing herself in the process. Things don't quite go according to plan. There is snark, sarcasm, romance, friends, and old wounds to be healed. And the occasional shenanigans.
