After a mission goes wrong, Sam and Jack get lost on a planet far away with no hope for return. After months they start to accept their faith and move on. Only to have their new found happiness taken away from them.

What if Elizabeth Bennet was left with a terrible injury long before she met Mr. Darcy? Would he be able to overlook the impairment to see the woman she truly is or will he be blinded by his pride and familial obligations?

As suggested in the title of Jane Austen's original work, Darcy's greatest failing is pride. His passionate love for Elizabeth only mitigates this character flaw, resulting in the awful proposal at Hunsford. If happenstance forced Darcy to marry Elizabeth before he loved her, or even knew her at all, would he ever be able to get past his pride to recognise his fortune?

Ten years have passed since Darcy's disastrous marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet. Despite the regrets they both came to feel, they moved on with their lives. Now Elizabeth Fitzwilliam is returning to England a widow, and there may be a chance of rekindling a lost love.
