"Love will thaw..." He was told once by a wise soul and he could hardly wait for the day when Elsa's icy walls would finally melt. Five, ten, twenty, fifty years from now - it didn't matter. One day she will let her heart thaw and they'll be free to love one another.

Let simmer and take cover. A HTTYD Alt-History fic with a premise of: Take the first HTTYD film as canon, and then set that, gently, in the historical 1040s.
