I finally made an account here! Yay! Well, I don't really know what to say, except that I thank Nietono-no-Shana for inspiring me to write.

Hey, y'alls want a poem? I've got a few I'd like to share, if you don't mind. I don't think I'm actually supposed to post poems as actual stories, so I'll just put one here. Hope you like!

Goodbye, Friend

Flames of fury,

Heat of hate,

Those fondest memories

Have become a heavy weight.

But time will go on,

And pain will fade.

You'll turn around and see

The new friends that you've made.

They say you've no heart

And you can't feel the pain,

But I can hear it beating;

You'll prove them wrong again

But wait; what's that love?

You're fading away?!

No, that can't be!

I want you to stay!

I'm sorry this happened

And I wish these promises were true.

I'll tell everyone your story

And most of all: I'll miss you.

Night of Darkness

Eyes of blue,
Hair of white,
Please won't you
Come back to the light?

My heart is aching,
I cannot sleep.
My heart that's breaking
Is yours to keep.

But dark are your eyes,
And your words are cold.
These endless lies
Are getting quite old.

Your friends are still true,
And that includes me.
Why, then, must you
Call me an "enemy"?

I'll be yours forever
If only you'll wake
And take the heart that never
Was the enemy's to take.

For my love for you
Is stronger than fate;
I will always be true
Despite all of your hate.

If the darkness consumes you
Then in I must go
To always be with you
And fight off your foes.

I'll always be here
When times are rough.
And for me, my dear,
That is enough.

The Vampire's Curse

Painful fangs beneath my skin,
And yet a love from deep within.
Those eyes of red that pierce the night
Seem to be my guiding light.

Fangs stained red, you frighten me,
And yet your eyes enlighten me.
You’re hungry, thirsty, have my blood!
For you I’d let it be a crimson flood.

Love or lust? It seems the same,
But lust for my blood or love like a flame?
Whatever it is, it consumes my whole being
And I don’t really mind that there’s no way of seeing.

The truth is that I don’t know how I feel
Or even if this love can be called real,
But one thing I know is certainly true:
I’ll never be able to live without you.
