![]() IMPORTANT Authors Note: Hello all! I know i've been sorely inactive, and, lets face it, a complete 'tard/n00b on dear old fanfic.net. Well now i've finally come off of my year long hiatus, and i dearly hope that some of my readers have not given up on me! I've decided i'm going to make some completely new changes to my page, starting with deleting all my horrible, horrible fanfiction and reposting SOME of them. My largest story DGMXMythos, is going to be re-posted, but it all the stories (for the one fanfic) will be posted in one go from now on, so no more little tid-biteded format for now. I'll probably get started on finishing the first story soon (sadly, math finals are next week -the frig ever heard of having finals days before school gets out?- so i can't really guarantee anything fast and speedy until then). But then i'll probably be having a two week grace period until i have my first vacation, so please bare with me (if any of my small cluster of favoriters are still clinging onto hope, that is). On a lighter note however, DGMXMythos is going to be re-formatted into a play-story style, which i think will bring even more comical chaos to some of the more dreary scenes. I'm also debating on bring some guest stares in as well, considering DGM's sore, sore lack of female characters that aren't loli or completely batshit. To wrap up this extremely long winded and long, LONG over due announcement, I WILL be posting more goodies soon. My writing style and flow has improved dramatically, so please, please, stick with me here people. D: Okay, so tah tah for noew. ^^;; shot down* Quotes All because of you, I believe in angels. Not the kind with wings. No, not the kind with halos. The kind that bring you home when home becomes a strange place. I'll follow your voice, all you have to do is shout it out.-The Good Left Undone, by Rise Against. He's just so much less . . .i don know . . . baby eating - fightdreamers vid on youtube " Be optimistic about life...'cause everyone you hate will eventually die..." Stolen off an icon. " Kill them all, Live forever." Stolen from Depression dog. "We're Americans! We don't think, we do!" - One of the guys in Nightmare At The Museum 2. “The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. stone crumbles. wood rots. people, well, they die. but things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.” Chuck Palanhuik Life is a progress, and not a station. Growth itself contains the germ of happiness. Technological change is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal. You can judge your age by the amount of pain you feel when you come in contact with a new idea No person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow. If you have always done it that way, it is probably wrong. I am comforted by life's stability, by earth's unchangeableness. What has seemed new and frightening assumes its place in the unfolding of knowledge. It is good to know our universe. What is new is only new to us. The important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become. They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself. Change does not necessarily assure progress, but progress implacably requires change. Education is essential to change, for education creates both new wants and the ability to satisfy them. All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another. ~Anatole France Without accepting the fact that everything changes, we cannot find perfect composure. But unfortunately, although it is true, it is difficult for us to accept it. Because we cannot accept the truth of transience, we suffer. ~Shunryu Suzuki "Self-enquiry is the process and the goal also. 'I am' is the goal and the final reality. To hold to it with effort is self-enquiry. When spontaneous and natural it is realisation." "When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others." "Possession of material riches, without inner peace, is like dying of thirst while bathing in a lake." Get mad, then get over it. ~Colin Powell Do not teach your children never to be angry; teach them how to be angry. Lyman Abbott Sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel. “The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in.” “If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were.” “One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.” “You can close your eyes to the things you do not want to see, but you cannot close your heart to the things you do not want to feel.” “We say we love flowers, yet we pluck them. We say we love trees, yet we cut them down. And people still wonder why some are afraid when told they are loved.” “You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” “I meant what I said and I said what I meant.” “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” “Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!” |
