Apart from Momonga there were many others who were in Yggdrasil on the last day. This is the story of such a character. On the last day of Yggdrasil one of the key members of the Angel-Type Guild Seraphim stays behind to clean up after an ingame party. She later finds herself caught up in the most bizarre situation.

Before the Overlord came to conquer the world, before the thirteen heroes defeated the rampaging demon gods and before magic was given to men; the dragon lords ruled the world. One night, strangers, travelers lost far from home, found themselves on the path of conquest. The world will later come to know them as the Eight Kings of Greed.

Ainz controls the western continent under the banner of the sorcerer Empire. He discovers new lands to the east so he sends his three strongest to investigate.

The tale of a master smith of Yggdrasil dragged into a world that he does not understand. And so he retreats into his character until Blue Rose comes knocking down his door.

This story is parallel to original overlord series and about a player who is stuck in this new world, and doesn't know how to get back.

Momonga thought he was the last member of Ainz Ooal Gown to be logged in game before the end of YGGDRASIL. Technically, he's right. What he failed to mention was the existence of a member who left the guild before the game's shut down. Mostly written in first person PoV. Read the important note on chapter 1 before proceeding with the story.

After 12 long years, the servers hosting the hugely immersive DMMORPG Yggdrasil are shutdown. But while most of the players decided to logoff at the end of the festivities, a lone one stayed until the last moment. That decision inevitably altered his fate, as his character was transferred in an alternate world. Volume 2 finished.

Just as there is more than one way through YGGDRASIL, as there can be more things under heaven and earth that can be dreamt of. Momonga, having summoned his guild members into the world through a piece of background lore made reality, must keep up with the machinations of his friends when all he wishes is to sit back and enjoy Nazarick together.
